Ytd we went for brunch @ Ah yat seafood for their tim sum treat. Bought the promotion under groupon.com
Overall experience was ok.. but its best to call for reservation if you intend to walk in on weekend.
we couldn’t try many other stuffs available coz there is just 2 + 1 of us. Will find a chance to go back with a bigger group of people.
we placed ordered for the
congee(not in pic). Chicken, century egg, fish.
Can give it a miss.. it wasn’t my kind of HK style congee. Even my lil missy refused to try it .
siew mai – nothing to rave abt it… i had better ones elsewhere.
shrimp dumpling – The skin was slightly thicker but the shrimps used were Q & fresh.
steamed pork ribs – do-able but it be beta if its softer. People with not so strong teeth, best to avoid.
steamed chicken claws – abit too salty for my taste but overall not bad.
beancurd rolls with shrimps – more skin den the shrimps
deep fried scallop in yam paste – TIO conned! it came with char siew filling instead.
pan fried dumpling – not too bad.
mini egg tarts – not too bad. can try if u like egg tarts.
Steamed rice roll with char siew – so so lo… abit over steamed
deep fried minced shrimp balls – so so only
carrot cake – worth trying.
fried noodle – taste not bad but too much beansprouts…
