Tempted by the discussion over this traditional steamed cake n decided to try it out.
1:1:1 portion with no Baking agent, or rising agent used.. sound so good isn’t it.. chemical as free…
Where really basic ingredients of sugar, plain flour n eggs are used
Eg:
1 cup of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of plain flour

Indeed soft n fluffy..

Next time I will use my traditional way of steaming instead of my tier steamer that can’t control the flame.
Lol regerted after putting it in but was too late…
But now with the taste n texture correct… next round I shall work on the outlook..

Mine didn’t turned out yellow Cox I ended Using brown sugar.
