Have to get dinner done fast
So I did a stew n served with dao shao mian.
Does these look familiar to u..
I never failed to order these at zi char Stall.
But I doesn’t want to get sotong paste for the sake of it.
So make do with fish paste…
Did u spot the veg I hidden in it.. I minced it so that the lil one have no ways to remove it…
Instead of deep fry it… and I dun have a air fryer.. so I oven baked it.
All I used
A box of fish paste
1 stick of you tiao
Minced carrot n broccoli
Spread into the you tiao.
Bake at 180degee for 8-10min.
pls check ur own oven temp. some oven temp heat are higher so check your you tiao to avoid it burnt.
I never like soft boiled eggs but I love these old school style of eating it with dark soya sauce n runny yolk.
Who said Ginger spring onion chicken must be stir fry… i decided to steam it….
I marinated with salt, sesame oil, corn flour, hua diao jiu, Ginger juice
Den steam with sliced Ginger n the white part of the spring onion. Steam high flame 23min. Add in the rest of the spring onion. Leave it for another 2min.
Wasn’t in the right mood today… the lil one was super sticky.. till my energy level went Low by mid morning. Luckily I prepared the soup after I woke up..
The nuggets n ngoh hiang were frozen.
The veg was blanch n added simmer mushroom…
The 2 dishes wasn’t my original plan.. Oh well..
At least we have our dinner homecooked.
