Yam paste part 2

After dinner dessert. My anyhow
Homemade yam paste served with ginko nuts And coconut cream.
Less oil. Less sugar.

I pre prepared the ginko nuts the day before.

It’s a need to remove the stem or the heart in the middle of the ginko seed

I boiled it with some pandan leaves.

Seasoned with some rock sugar.  Just abit.
Cool it down n store in air tight container.

I used coconut cream. Add in a pinch of salt n some sugar for taste.

Have the yam paste And ginko nut steam till piping hot.
And den…
It’s ready to serve..
