So far our experience at jurong pt  was rather good..  Food & service was great…  totally differ from jem branch..

Is it bcoz she felt we are paying less so service attitudes lessen by half as well?  Mmmm

Here we feel like…  the mgr not keen to serve us..  was so unfrdly till we made payment den she smiled.

Total paid $29.50 for 3 main course.

nothing to rave abt…  at the least my like jr sim wanna to try some of the salmon.

The chicken is so hard n dry!!!!!  I had difficulty cutting it… 
Had to insistantly remind my jr to drink water while eating it..  I dun wanna risk her getting choke..

SERIOUSLY am very looking forward to eat the trotter
We can’t decided if we wanna half of it or order sausages too den we saw this on the menu n it fixed our issue
End up…  both of us had a…  mmm is this wat it supposed to be?  This isn’t the first time I had their pork knuckles at other branch…  I always had tat..  oooo it’s so shiok look n satisfied look after it
But today … both of us had this… it’s HARD! Look

Meatballs congee

One pot of congee served all tonight
A must have you tiao to go along with..  no other garnish available in the fridge.. 
The kiddos had their min. Seasonings ones
the sir had his with egg while I had eggless ones.

For the Meatballs I used Salt,  pepper, Ginger juice, soya sauce, corn flour for marination.

Stew daikon with soft bones

Did my fav comfortable food that goes along with rice or noodle. I anyhow do de… just basic marination of oyster sauce n dark soya sauce for colouring.
I USED to do this with beef but I no longer take beef now
So
I changed it to

I only marinate with oyster sauce n dark soya sauce as I mentioned above den stir fry with onion , add water n daikon n stew .

Failed Chiffon cake

When baking goes wrong..

I wanna to bake a Chiffon cake that is chemical free fruity Chiffon cake and saw one tat attracts me..
Who knows it ended up as an eggy taste Chiffon cake with a burnt top… Trimmed off the burnt skin..
Still edible…
No I dun blame the original recipe provider … she had a topping to match the cake Which I didn’t do.
Overall yes it’s still a Chiffon cake..more towards the moist type.

Noodles

A throwback to ytd dinner
Llh deluxe noodles with steamed shredded chicken, water boiled xiao bai cai,  braised mushroom, store bought fishcakes & char siew..  not forgetting the noodles absoring the braised sauce and homemade shallot oil.
