i made this white coffee huat kueh one year ago. Today it revisit in the kitchen. Made a bit of changes.
Still it’s soft and fluffy in texture…
Make 7 standard muffin size.
250g self raising flour
1tsp baking powder
2 tsp corn oil
120g brown sugar
250ml kopi (I used 3 in 1 coffee + black kopi + water to make into 250ml)
Mixed all together n steam for 20- 25min under High flame.
Personally I understood how disappointing it is when it’s the same recipe but why others can do it but I can’t.
My experience is..
Make sure ur water is at a boiling point when u steaming it.
Steam it at high flame.
Have enough water level to steam through the process.. too little water will end up with a failure product.
